Clip-On Wheel Weights

Step 1 – Select weight style

Firstly you need to determine the appropriate series or the particular alloy rims by usage of appropriate rim gauge from us or through application chart. On passenger cars with steel rims use REG or through P style wheel weight. It is to be noted that the T style clip on weight are being designed for the pickup trucks. Use our truck rim gauge or application chart in determining proper fitment.

Step 2 – Determine imbalanced point and weight size

It is important to use a balancer and identify the imbalanced point on the wheel and then select the proper wheel weight which needs to gain balance.

Step 3 – install the clip-on wheel weight

You need to place the wheel at the imbalance point and then strike the clip with a wheel weight hammer

Tips

*It is being advised by experts to use a hammer in order to avoid damaging the coating on the weight of the wheel. A coating that remains intact really means a long lasting corrosion resistance.

*If a particular wheel weight does not fit in a wheel, do not really bend the clip by usage of pliers or any other means. These clips are being carefully designed to have the corrective balance between electricity and it hardens to stay on the rim. If they are altered the wheel weights could generally fall off which might result in tumultuous injury.

ADHESIVE WHEEL WEIGHTS

STEP 1 – CLEANING

Cleaning- You need to clean the areas where the wheels weight is being applied using StickPro wheel cleaner. In order to carry out the task do spray the area entirely and then wipe with a clean soft cloth.

STEP 2 – SELECT WEIGHT SIZE

You need to cut or break the adhesive weights apart depending on the particular size of weights being needed.

STEP 3 – CONTOURING

If the adhesive weight is not precontoured you need to follow the instructions cited below, otherwise you need to go to step-4. Before removing the liner, apply the weight against the wheel and usage of your fingers gently contour the shape to the radius of the wheel.

STEP 4 – REMOVING LINER

You need to remove the liner and you shall avoid touching the exposed adhesive.

STEP 5 – APPLYING

Finally you need to center the weight to the imbalance point. Using the fingers and application of a uniform pressure throughout the surface.
